MathsDaily is built so that we hold as little information about you as possible. There are no accounts, no sign-up and no database of users. Because many of the people using this site are children, this policy is written to be readable by students as well as parents.
Your level, your answers for the current day, your running total of completed days, your questions-solved count, your calendar history and the name you sign with are all stored in your own browser, on your own device.
None of it reaches our servers. We cannot see it, and it is not synced between devices. Clearing your browser data removes all of it permanently.
We do not ask for names, email addresses or any personal details. We do not use advertising, tracking cookies, or analytics that build a profile of you.
We do not sell or share data with third parties, because we do not hold any to sell or share.
A small number of outside services are touched when you use the site, and it is fair that you know which. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads. Video help links open YouTube in a new tab, where YouTube’s own policy applies. Share buttons open WhatsApp, your email app, Facebook, X, or your device’s share menu, and nothing is sent unless you choose to send it; once sent, that platform’s policy governs the message. Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security, as substantially all websites do.
MathsDaily is intended for students roughly aged 11 to 18. Because no personal data is collected on our servers, the risks that data protection law exists to address are kept to a minimum by design.
The signed name feature exists only on the child’s own device and in messages they choose to send. We encourage younger students to share their results with a parent or carer using the email option.
To erase everything MathsDaily holds about you, clear this site’s data in your browser settings. To use the site with no stored history at all, use private or incognito browsing, though your daily totals will not persist that way.
If this approach changes, this page will be updated and the date above revised. Questions are welcome through the contact page.
This policy describes the site as it is built today: local-only storage with no server-side collection. If features such as accounts or cloud sync are introduced, this policy will be rewritten first and should be reviewed by a qualified professional before that launch.
