Common questions
Is MathsDaily really free?
Yes. No sign-up, no account and no adverts. Stored progress stays on your device. If you choose Share, only the result you select is passed to your email or sharing app; MathsDaily does not send or store it.
What happens if I get questions wrong?
Nothing is lost. Wrong answers go into a retry queue with tips and video help, and you try again until all twenty are correct. Miss a whole day and nothing is lost: that day just doesn't add to your total.
Why do some questions ask for pen and paper?
Questions are marked "Paper" when drawings or written methods will help, from number lines and column arithmetic to long division, multi-step algebra and sketched diagrams. Showing working builds understanding and prepares older learners for method marks.
Which year groups does it cover?
Individual primary Years 1 to 6; Year 7, 8 and 9 at KS3; GCSE Years 10 and 11 with Foundation or Higher; and A-level pure maths, mechanics and statistics.
Do I have to finish all 20 in one sitting?
No. Your progress saves automatically, so you can leave and come back any time the same day. The set just needs to be complete, with every answer correct, by midnight for the day to count.
